Frank Mahnke (1942-2016)

Frank Mahnke’s spent his career studying the effect of color in the built environment. Through decades of interdisciplinary research, Mahnke developed a unique ability to understand how the body and the mind could be influenced by the colors that surround us.

Mahnke’s research and design work deeply influenced my understanding of how people respond to color in the physical environment. It was his comprehensive understanding of color and humanity that inspired me to launch my own color practice.
